Learning Support Assistant

Fixed Term Post, One Year

Range 1B ISN6 - FTE. 39 weeks a year, 27 hours per week

£14,246 p.a. Actual Salary £8,707

Required for September 2012.

  • An enthusiastic and committed person is required to join our friendly and supportive Individual Learning Team.
  • The team supports students across the age range (11-18) in the classroom under the guidance of the teacher and works with individuals within the department.
  • Patience and flexibility, a good general knowledge together with a sense of humour are essential.
  • Candidates must have Maths and English GCSE level C or above, or equivalent. ICT skills and some experience would be desirable, although training will be given.

Once applications have been submitted visits will be arranged.

One-To-One English Tutors

Hours Negotiable, Start Date Negotiable

Hourly Rate Equivalent to M6.

We are looking for qualified teachers, preferably with experience of teaching Key Stage 3 English, to become a one-to-one tutors for selected students in Key Stage 3. The post will involve working on key areas of the English curriculum in liaison with the students' class teachers.

The sessions will take place during the school day or after school.

Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status and though they need not be an English specialist, it would be preferable if they have had experience of teaching English at Key Stage 3.

The positions are available for an immediate start subject to CRB checks. Once applications have been submitted, interviews will be arranged.

Assistant Caretaker

Full Time. Bucks Pay Range 1b. Starting Salary £14,246+

52 Weeks a Year

The site team look after all aspects of the maintenance, cleaning and caretaking tasks of this busy and successful school. The team is managed by the school business manager and consists of a facilities manager, facilities assistant, 2 part-time assistant caretakers, cleaning supervisor and 8 cleaners.
