John Colet School is used by many members of the local community.
There are frequent events taking place in the hall such as music productions and concerts, drama performances, performing arts school and yoga.
Other parts of the school are also used, such as the library and lecture theatre for meetings and adult education uses many classrooms for lessons such as languages, upholstery, yoga, and computing.
The school field is used for rugby and football training and also for athletic events.
The swimming pool is a community facility and is run by a
management committee. It does not make a profit but uses the
income generated to upgrade and refurbish the facility. The
swimming pool is used by the school and the Wendover Swimming
Association and there are several clubs running swimming lessons.
The pool is also used free of charge by our three feeder schools
- Wendover Junior CE School, Weston Turville CE School and
Aston Clinton School.
The school is community conscious and lettings are only viable with the goodwill of the Premises Manager and Assistant Caretaker.
They ensure the smooth running of all lettings of the facilities.
