We welcome applicants from many local schools and some further afield. All students can be assured of a warm and supportive welcome when they join us in Year 12. The John Colet School Sixth Form offers a broad range of enabling subjects, which can facilitate students going on to university to study a huge range of degree courses and which can lead to a diverse range of careers.

9am - 12pm, Friday 23 August
9am - 11am, Saturday 24 August
9am - 2pm, Tuesday 2 September

Thursday 15 November 2018 - Into the Sixth Evening - 6.30 - 8pm,
Thursday 6 December 2018 - Expressions of interest forms submitted and used to inform option blocks
Monday 28 January 2019 - Applications are submitted
February 2019 - Invitations to interviews
March / April 2019 - Interviews take place
May / June 2019 - GCSE exam period
Thursday 4 July 2019 - Year 12 Induction Day for applicants
Thursday 22 August 2019 - GCSE Results Day and early enrolment for internal and external students
Friday 23, Saturday 24 August / Tuesday 2 September 2019 – Enrolment for internal and external students
Wednesday 4 September 2019 - Year 12 transition day

Summer Work

Following Induction Day in July, students will be required to complete Summer Work to support the transition from Year 11 to Year 12. Summer Work will be set for each subject and should be completed by students either over the summer holiday or within the first two weeks of September. Summer Work completion enables students to begin developing independence and can demonstrate commitment to, and passion for, their new courses.

2019 Summer Work

16-19 Bursary

Sixth Form students at John Colet School who are experiencing financial constraints are able to apply for a bursary to support their time in our Sixth Form subject to meeting certain criteria.
