Sixth Form Admissions
We welcome applicants from many local schools and some further afield. All students can be assured of a warm and supportive welcome when they join us in Year 12. The John Colet School Sixth Form offers a broad range of enabling subjects, which can facilitate students going on to university to study a huge range of degree courses and which can lead to a diverse range of careers.
Into the Sixth Evening - Thursday 15 November 2018
Please do come and visit us on our annual Into the Sixth evening to hear all the fantastic opportunities on offer to our students. You can meet subject teachers and discuss experiences with our existing students.

November - January- Expressions of interest accepted and used to inform option blocks
January - February - Applications accepted
March - Offer letters sent and students invited for interview
April - Interviews for students take place
May/June - GCSE exam period
July - Year 12 Induction Day for applicants
August - GCSE Results Day and early enrolment for internal students
September - Enrolment for all students.
Following Induction Day in July, students will be required to complete Summer Tasks to support the transition from Year 11 to Year 12. Summer Tasks will be set for each subject and should be completed by students either over the summer holiday or within the first two weeks of September. Summer Task completion enables students to begin developing independence and can demonstrate commitment to, and passion for, their new courses.
