We currently use OLIVER, (currently only available via school internal network), our web-based library system to view on-line resources, reserve books and dvd's etc.

We also use ePlatform to provide digital access to (e)books, which can be accessed from most Internet capable devices.

Our library offers a range of fiction and non fiction resources, including copies of subject text books. We have Chromebooks available for students to access work set by teachers and complete homework. In addition to our online careers platform - Unifrog,  we also have a range of materials ranging from career information to details of Higher and Further education, all of which is updated regularly.

There is also a selection of DVDs, set texts and revision guides available for students and staff hire. A colour printer is available for individual copies of materials for use by staff and students. We also have a selection of games including chess and draughts for students to use.

Students can borrow up to three books at a time and, like most libraries, there is a system of fines in operation for overdue books. Students are able to renew and reserve items. The tariff is posted in the Library, the current fees are 5p per day for overdue books, 10p per day for overdue DVD's and we charge replacement costs for lost resources.

We try to keep up with trends and curriculum changes in non fiction and fiction. We have a student suggestion box for our students to make recommendations.  If we do not have an item in stock that you would like to see in the library please let the librarian know.
